Project at a Glance
This case study summarizes the usage of the UPK developer tool in the implementation of Item module and its subsequent integration with the Purchasing and Asset Management Cycle for a leading New Zealand based University. This interactive tool increased productivity, reduced costs and completed successful end user training in record time.
The challenge for the project team was to implement, test, and provide end user training in a compressed timeline of just four weeks. In order to accelerate learning curves, a Web-based training approach was chosen over instructor-led training and proved successful.
The User Productivity Kit was utilized to cover the training phase of the project and was conducted in parallel with other project phases. Benefits of using UPK included:
- Record once and publish output in multiple modes (SEE IT, TRY IT and PRINT Modes)
- Share odarc files with users to copy all recordings in the institution’s learning management system (Moodle)
- Single source content development tool Format bubble frames as per the requirement of a client
