According to ESG research, nearly one-third of IT professionals believe that mobile devices have become crucial to their organization’s business processes and productivity, while another 55% consider them to be very important.  There is no doubt that mobile workspaces can improve enterprise workforce productivity by enabling people to conduct business on any network, at any location, and on any device in a fully secured environment.  This US based staffing client decided to implement Time and Labor in Fluid for their employees utilizing PeopleSoft on the go.

TOOL SELECTION

The Fluid UI provides the users with the ability to access PeopleSoft applications across a variety of form factors from smart phones to tablets to desktops/laptops. The client was already running People Tool 8.54. Fluid was selected to allow users access to PeopleSoft on their handheld devices.

SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION

The successful upgrade provided the client with greater real time communication capabilities and streamlined timesheet delivery.  Users appreciated device independence, mobile capability, and improved communication support.
